Spend a half day in the picturesque village of Mijas. This charming village is a cluster of whitewashed buildings nestled into the mountainside offering spectacular views of the coast below. Mijas offers a glimpse of village life with its narrow cobblestoned streets and whitewashed buildings.
This is the perfect example of an old Spanish village that has managed to retain its old world charm. On this tour you will be taken on a 35 minute sightseeing tour of the village in a Tuk Tuk where you will see the most important sites of the village. You will then be dropped off at the Museo del Vino, The Wine Museum.
The Wine Museum is located in a lovely old building dating from 1839, known in the village as “The house of light/electricity” as the first transformers for the supply of electricity in the town were here. The building was restored in 2004 for the wine museum where all the Malaga wines are available, as well as wines from other regions of Spain.
Here you will have a guided wine tasting by the sommelier and a variety of tapas. After your visit to the Wine Museum, return to your car for the drive back to the Port of Malaga
